Chuck's Firehouse
| Firefighting is a passion of mine. I have been involved in wildland and structure firefighting. I have spent four years in fire department as an auxiliary firefighter, made it to the possition of senior auxiliary firefighter and was then promoted to firefighter/EMT. In the fire season of 2006 I was employed by the USDA Forest Service as a firefighter on Plumas engines 16 and 12. Now that the fire season has ended I am working for Plumas District Hospital in Quincy, Ca as an EMT. This website will give some information on both wildland and structure firefighting along with pictures of fires and equipment used to battle fires. Chainsaws and falling trees is another of my passions so, I decided to tie that into the fire part because they are a key piece of equipment in both types of firefighting. |
