Allow us to shed some light on The Plumas Christian School: History
In the fall of 1986, Plumas Christian School
started at the Baptist church under the instruction of Chet Crane with grades K
through 6. For the fall of 1988, the school moved to it's own building on
Lindan Avenue. Since 1988, John Sturley has been the
Principal.
Our school started out with no more then 50 students
kindergarten through sixth grade. In that short time we have grown to a full
high school, with student bodies totaling over one hundred thirty students,
including independent study.
Our school still has quite a bit of growing to do, and is up
to the challenge. With each new school year we are able add new classes, and
improve our already high standards of academics.
We owe a great deal of gratitude to donations over the years,
parents, the community, and complete strangers merely interested in our
establishment. God has provided for us in more ways then we can count over the
years. Each day is a gift from him and we are forever grateful for his blessing.
