Plumas Christians head coach Matt Cruz. This was Mr.
Cruz first year as the tennis coach. He pushed each player and
helped them greatly. All of the success that the team has accomplished
is cause of the coaches.
Plumas Christians coach Che Johnson. This was
her 4th year as a coach for the team. She is a joy to be with and
knows the game very well. She has helped the team greatly and is a
big encouragement for the players.
Plumas Christians Stefan Johnson. 2nd ranked on the
team. Hardest hitting player in league. Loved to play the
net. Will be returning to play for his senior year. He will look
forward to improving his game and be in the top 3 for league.
Plumas Christians Tory Manchester. Ranked
1st on the team and league. Was 2nd in The Smalls Schools Northern
Section . He will be returning for his senior year and will be
looking to start where he left off.
Plumas Christians Colin Kroaker. This was
his first season. As a freshmen he held his own and will
continue to get stronger as he learns the game. He was ranked 4th on
the team.
Plumas Christians Matt Cruz. Matt has been
playing tennis for awhile and finally got to play competitively.
He was ranked 3rd on the team. Being a freshmen he helped the team
and will continue to be a factor for the team.
Plumas Christians Mallory Colombo. Ranked
number 1 in girls on the team. This was her senior year. She
finished the season strong and was a joy to have on the team.
Plumas Christians Kristen Hartwig. The
cousin of Mallory Colombo, and the 2nd ranked on the team. She was a
fiery spitball on the court and played with huge intensity. Being a
senior this was her last year.
Plumas Christians Brittany Beeson.
Brittany will be looking to gain the number 1 spot on the team. Last
year, being a freshmen, was a growing year for her. She will now
look forward to snatching the number 1 spot in league and grow as a
player. Last year she was ranked 4th on the team.
Plumas Christians Kammi Manchester. The
younger sister of fellow teammate and brother Tory Manchester. She
will also be looking to challenge Brittany for the number 1 spot.
This will be her 3 year playing and she will look to use her knowledge of
the game to outdo her opponents. Last year she was ranked 3rd on the team.
Plumas Christians Courtney Wilcox. Last
year was her first year ever playing. This year she will continue to
grow in the game and is always willing to take on a challenge during
practice. Last year she was ranked 5th, but will hope to go higher in
the ranks.
The Plumas Christian Boys Tennis team took second
place in the Small Schools Northern Sections Playoffs. This
was the first trophy the school had received from tennis in the twenty-
one years of its existence.
